Position: AWS Solution Architect

Location: Remote

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 12 months with possible extension

The AWS Solution Architect will design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions to support the migration of GoldEsp data to AWS and the development of data products. This role will ensure alignment with the customer s cloud strategy, governance, and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design: Architect end-to-end AWS solutions, including data pipelines, storage, and analytics platforms (Redshift, S3, Glue).

Cloud Migration: Lead the migration of GoldEsp data to AWS, ensuring data integrity, security, and scalability.

Governance and Compliance: Ensure solutions comply with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.

Automation: Design CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and monitoring.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business and analytics teams to define requirements and high-value use cases.

Documentation: Create architecture diagrams, ICDs, and runbooks for implemented solutions.

Required Skills:

Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with AWS services (Redshift, Glue, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM).

Architecture Design: Proficiency in designing scalable and secure cloud architectures.

Automation: Experience with CI/CD tools (Terraform, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline).

Data Integration: Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools.

Soft Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) preferred.

7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and data solutions.
