Job Title: Application Architect


Work Location: Remote (Preferably Baton Rouge, LA, United States)


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to support the State's Office of Community Development Disaster Recovery Unit (OCD DRU) in the design and implementation of Intelligrants for disaster recovery grants management. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level knowledge in the architecture and deployment of Intelligrants software and have prior experience in government or disaster recovery environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the OCD DRU and other stakeholders to design and optimize the use of Intelligrants for disaster recovery grant management.
  • Develop and document scalable, secure, and efficient application architecture that aligns with the strategic goals of the OCD DRU.
  • Provide technical leadership in the configuration, integration, and customization of the Intelligrants platform.
  • Identify and troubleshoot architectural issues or software bottlenecks, providing resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the architectural design supports regulatory and compliance requirements for federal and state disaster recovery funding.
  • Support data migration, system integration, and reporting functions within the Intelligrants platform.
  • Advise on best practices for system maintenance, performance tuning, and user access control.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Expert-level experience in Intelligrants grant management software architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing grant management solutions for government or non-profit entities.
  • Familiarity with disaster recovery processes and related grants management.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), cloud platforms, data security, and enterprise architecture principles.
  • Experience with system installation, integration, configuration, and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience working with State or Federal disaster recovery units or programs.
  • Experience integrating Intelligrants with other enterprise systems (e.g., financial systems, GIS, case management platforms).
  • Strong project management and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $77.00 - $87.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
