Job Title: ServiceNow CSDM Expert (Architect Level)
Duration: 4 months - Part Time (20 Hrs/week)
Location: Remote, but must be willing to travel to Cincinnati to lead a multi-day CSDM workshop
Must Have Technical Skills: CSDM, DPR, Enterprise Applications, ITAM, ITOM, ITSM
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow CSDM Expert to lead the ongoing evolution and development of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) at Fifth Third Bank. This role requires a deep understanding of CDSM versions 3, 4, and 5, CSDM best practices, ServiceNow architecture, and the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives, particularly in support of our Digital Product Release (DPR) launch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the definition and modeling of Products and Services to support the DPR initiative.
- Facilitate a multi-day onsite workshop to assess and plan CSDM-related workstreams.
- Model the CSDM structure across five representative 5/3 applications, including:
- Business Applications
- Application Instances (formerly Application Services)
- Business Offerings
- Business Services
- Technical Management Offerings
- Technical Management Services
- Products (in the context of DPR)
- Provide guidance on the use of CSDM SDLC tables and their integration with ServiceNow modules.
- Evaluate and develop a plan to review and refine the classification of approximately 1800 Business Applications, identifying misclassifications and developing a migration plan to correct them
- Define criteria for what constitutes a Business Application within the 5/3 environment.
Ensure CSDM alignment across ServiceNow capabilities including:
- Incident, Problem, Change
- Enterprise Architecture (EA)
- Technology Portfolio Management (TPM)
- Digital Product Release (DPR)
- Asset Management (ITAM)
- Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
- DevOps
Required Skills & Experience:
- Architect-level expertise in ServiceNow and CSDM.
- Proven track record of successful CSDM implementations.
- Strong understanding of how CSDM impacts various ServiceNow modules.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and configuration.
- Ability to lead workshops, engage stakeholders, and drive consensus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) ITSM, ITOM, SPM
- Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries
