Job Details

Our client, a professional services firm, is looking to hire a Sr. Network Consultant for a 6 month contract with the chance to extend. The Network Consultant will work on a Hybrid schedule and report to the network engineering manager to ensure the delivery of Azure Security deployments, ACI upgrades, and Inter-DC- Encryption.

Required Skills:

  • Networking Expertise: CCIE-level or equivalent experience with deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, route redistribution, HSRP, STP, LACP, vPC, NAT, DNS, QoS, and packet analysis tools
  • Data Center & SDN: Experience with modern datacenter design, Cisco ACI, Cisco DNA Center
  • Security & Access Control: Proficient with 802.1x, TACACS, RADIUS, Cisco ISE, SSO, SAML, and Palo Alto SASE/next-gen firewalls
  • Wireless & Cloud: Strong understanding of 802.11 standards, RF fundamentals, and cloud operations (AWS/Azure)
  • Automation & Scripting: Experience with network automation using tools like Python, Postman, and APIs

Preferred Skills:

  • Meraki Wi-Fi experience
  • Experience with clients in the financial services domain
