Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Technical Analyst for Cyber Resilience for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in lower Manhattan, NYC. Hybrid schedule 2-3 days a week in office.
The Technical Analyst for Cyber Resilience is responsible for providing and applying key subject matter expertise for managing, coordinating, interfacing and executing cyber resilience program tasks, activities and delivery of outcomes. This role is a crucial support role to the Program Manager and Director of Cyber Resilience to help maintain transparency, consistent communications, outcome delivery, accurate reporting, and proactive management of resources across individual workstreams and for the overall book of work.

The Technical Analyst for Cyber Resilience is responsible for providing and applying key subject matter expertise for managing, coordinating, interfacing and executing cyber resilience program tasks, activities and delivery of outcomes. This role is a crucial support role to the Program Manager and Director of Cyber Resilience to help maintain transparency, consistent communications, outcome delivery, accurate reporting, and proactive management of resources across individual workstreams and for the overall book of work.
Responsibilities :
- Support the Cyber Resilience book of work across all levels-from high-level program outcomes to detailed task-level tracking.
- Ensure delivery commitments are met by organizing both formal and informal working group discussions, triaging blockers, and informing stakeholders.
- Actively participate in identifying and removing obstacles to support program objectives.
- Provide comprehensive and timely updates on program and project activities to the Program Manager, Director, and stakeholders at various levels.
- Communicate effectively across teams, representing resilience-related topics to cross-organizational stakeholders with professionalism and clarity.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail in the creation and maintenance of project plans and status reports.
- Proactively identify, adapt to, and incorporate dependencies and blockers into project planning and reporting.
- Adhere to corporate EDF standards, including business case development, budget preparation, and support for annual budget cycles and tactical funding requests.
- Interface with supplier management systems to assist in the procurement of new and extended contractor or FTE engagements.
- Identify and communicate program-level risks, blockers, and major challenges, facilitating assessment and action planning.
- Support internal and external audit exercises related to Technology Infrastructure projects under management.
- Bring an agile, solution-oriented mindset to addressing operational, regulatory, and cyber resilience gaps.
- Partner with Regional and Enterprise teams to ensure business coordination, transparency, and engagement with business technology stakeholders.
Required Skills :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of Technology Delivery experience within the Banking and Investment industry.
- Strong technical leadership and deep knowledge of both legacy and emerging technology and infrastructure systems.
- In-depth understanding of Technology and Cyber Resilience domains.

- Familiarity with modern resilience tools and techniques, including:
- Immutable Backups
- Air Gapping
- Failover Patterns
- Network Segmentation
- Zero Trust architectures
- Edge Security Services
- Experience operating across complex infrastructure landscapes:
- On-premise, hybrid, and public cloud environments
- Workloads ranging from mainframe to containers, functions, ETL pipelines, and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of standard risk and cybersecurity frameworks:
- NIST 800-53
- NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
- ISO 27001
- Familiarity with key regulatory guidelines and best practices, including:
- OSFI E21
- FRB SR 20-24
- NYDFS Part 500
- Strong working knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Excellent organizational, facilitation, written, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-divisional change initiatives and manage competing priorities.
- Comfortable serving as a driver of change with a proactive, transparent, and improvement-oriented working style.
