Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing tasks related to software application management; 2) applying security best practices to software applications; 3) developing standard operating procedures related to software application; and 4) leading and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to upgrade and modernize software applications.

- You will serve as the senior system administrator responsible for ensuring adequate support and resource availability of all applications and business systems hosted at NITC.
- You will ensure that all applications and business systems are migrated successfully into the virtual environment without impact to service availability and performance.
- You will present briefings to peers, upper management, and business line leader staffs on complex IT Issues, project status, and recommended course of action.
- You will develop information systems testing strategies, plans and scenarios and maintain quality assurance processes.
- You will analyze and verify technical project requirements and ensure adequate hardware and software resources are available to support business systems requirements.
- You will collaborate with IT project managers in developing project schedules for migrating applications and business systems into the virtualized environment.
