Job Description & Skill Requirement:
Seeking a skilled Electrical Systems designer with extensive experience in the electrical domain for offroad and recreational vehicles.
Develop electrical vehicle architecture aligned with project requirements.
Select and identify appropriate electrical components based on technical specifications.
Create detailed electrical schematics and related designs using industry-standard.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery despite varying complexity.
Install electrical systems on prototype vehicles and collaborate with the validation team to develop and execute QA and validation activities.
Utilize TeamCenter, NX, 3D experience and Capital XC software for design and development.
Have a solid understanding of RVIA electrical standards to ensure electrical designs fully comply.
Collect, track, and discuss technical issues with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution.
Support DFMEA exercises to identify potential failure modes and implement corrective actions.
Guide technicians during vehicle build processes and provide hands-on support during electrical system installations.
Coordinate with offshore teams for New Product Development (NPD) initiatives and sustenance projects
