Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Systems Engineer for a contract position in Richfield, MN. The opportunity will be a year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary:

• Responsible for design and build of all infrastructure used in retail stores (client, mobile, server, network, IoT) as well as the corporate desktop environment and office productivity applications.
• Infrastructure engineer replacing a long-term CW (20 years) who is retiring.
• Will work on a team responsible for company's client infrastructure used in retail and corporate environments.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Seeking a self-motivated IT Engineer with extensive experience in managing diverse hardware types, platforms, and management tools within a large retail enterprise.
• The ideal candidate will provide detailed status updates to team members and leadership, demonstrating strong technical and troubleshooting skills, have strong written and verbal skills as well as an aptitude for process improvement and a willingness to learn new technologies as the business evolves.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in PowerShell and Microsoft OS.
• Experience with Printing, desktop support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Able to work independently as well as with a large team, as required.
• Able to communicate effectively - written and verbally, as required.
• Number of years of experience should be more than 5, but skills and what was actually done in previous roles is more important.

Preferred:

• Experience with POS systems, JIRA, Github, and Microsoft InTune.
