We provide computer support for the Mechanical Engineering Division focusing on systems, storage, backups and networking.
Objectives of this Role:
- Work with our Division Computer Support group to provide customer support for staff members to include computer system maintenance, software/hardware installations, helpdesk support, etc.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Support our division desktop/laptop systems with computer system maintenance, software installation, problem diagnosis/resolution, hardware deployments, and general support of Windows and MAC systems.
- Perform both local and remote support as needed for hardware/software issues.
- Work as a team member to provide excellent customer service to our division staff of approximately 400.
Requirements:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have with 2 years of helpdesk experience
- 2-5 years: General computer helpdesk experience
- If candidate has an Associate's degree in IT: 1 year of work experience is required
- Must be detail-oriented, having outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal), and excellent at multi-tasking and problem-solving
- Should have ability to work independently in the absence of specific instructions on a number of tasks with a high degree of accuracy and have excellent organizational skills
- Familiarity with Desktop Central and Sentinel One is helpful
- A valid/clear driver's license is required
