VMware / Infrastructure Operations Engineer

Overview:
We are hiring a VMware / Infrastructure Operations Engineer to ensure stable on-premises infrastructure operations while enterprise migration and consolidation activities are executed. The role focuses on maintaining uptime, managing virtualization workloads, and supporting server lifecycle tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain VMware vCenter environments, including VM provisioning, snapshots, and patching.
  • Manage Windows Server instances, monitoring performance, storage, and availability.
  • Coordinate with backup teams for recovery testing and snapshot retention.
  • Maintain DNS/DHCP services, server patching, and monitoring tools.
  • Support infrastructure change requests and participate in operational reviews.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years experience with VMware vSphere and Windows Server administration.
  • Experience with vMotion, HA/DRS, templates, and PowerCLI automation.
  • Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, NTP, and backup integrations (Veeam, Rubrik, etc.).
  • Familiarity with hybrid or cloud-connected environments (Azure, AWS).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and documentation abilities.
