A proactive, problem-solving, self-starting, seasoned technical leader is wanted! In this role, you'll lead key infrastructure initiatives, drive smart automation, and help scale IT systems that support a fast-growing organization.
The technology infrastructure is modern and cloud-centric, with key platforms including Google Workspace, Azure AD, Slack, and Zoom facilitating daily operations. Individuals who embrace a high degree of ownership and autonomy are sought, empowered to make technical decisions and drive initiatives. Innovation and seamless collaboration define the workplace culture.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and evolve hybrid infrastructure with a focus on Google Workspace, Microsoft Azure AD, and enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Administer Google Workspace, with expertise in email routing, DNS configuration, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and Google Directory Services (user lifecycle, groups, org units).
- Own identity and access management using Azure AD (Entra ID), including SSO, MFA, conditional access, and cross-platform integrations.
- Drive automation using tools like PowerShell, Python, or equivalent scripting frameworks.
- Oversee and support network infrastructure, including vendor-managed systems and services (e.g., configurations, segmentation, monitoring).
- Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and integrations for tools like Slack, Zoom, and other collaboration platforms.
- Participate in data and systems migrations, including onboarding of new technologies, user transitions, and application integrations.
- Collaborate with security, engineering, and compliance teams to uphold standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST.
- Lead cross-functional IT initiatives, including architectural planning, system optimization, and technical project delivery.
- Maintain clear, accessible documentation for systems, workflows, automation scripts, and support processes.
REQUIRED
- 7+ years of IT systems administration experience, including a leadership or ownership role in prior environments.
- Experience supporting 1,000+ users in medium to large-scale environments with cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
- Strong experience with Google Workspace administration, including email architecture, DNS configuration, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and directory services.
- Expertise in Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and access governance.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or equivalent tools.
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro, including Autopilot deployment (hands-on knowledge, not specialization).
- Practical experience with managing or supporting network infrastructure across distributed environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
PREFERRED
- Experience with Meraki network solutions (switching, firewalls, wireless).
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS.
- Familiarity with security/compliance best practices (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Prior experience supporting or deploying Neat video conferencing hardware.
- Exposure to modern ITSM platforms such as Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, or Zendesk (optional)
