Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Manager (TPM) with a strong background in Finance or Accounting, combined with hands-on software engineering experience. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategy, drive execution, and deliver high-impact solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to lead initiatives from concept to launch.


Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle including strategy, roadmap, requirements, development, and release.

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, finance, and business teams to define product features and technical requirements.

  • Translate complex business and financial requirements into clear technical specifications.

  • Drive product initiatives aligned with financial compliance, reporting, analytics, or accounting workflows.

  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of product features.

  • Conduct market and competitive research to influence product direction.

  • Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and implement improvements.

  • Communicate product vision, roadmap, and status updates to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Identify risks, resolve cross-team dependencies, and remove blockers to ensure smooth project execution.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • Finance/Accounting background strongly preferred (FP&A, GL, AR/AP, audit, financial systems, etc.).

  • Software engineering or technical development experience (coding, APIs, system architecture understanding).

  • 3 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager, TPM, or similar role.

  • Strong understanding of financial systems, data workflows, or enterprise software.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to drive initiatives independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise or SaaS environments.

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).

  • Experience with financial applications, ERP, BI tools, or data platforms.

  • PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification.
