About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer to join our team and drive the design, development, and optimization of our data pipelines and cloud-based data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake and a solid background in data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.

  • Implement and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.

  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and security across multiple systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, BI developers, and business stakeholders.

  • Optimize Snowflake performance including query tuning, clustering, and partitioning.

  • Integrate Snowflake with other platforms, tools, and cloud services (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake.

  • Strong expertise in SQL and performance optimization.

  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Matillion, Talend, dbt).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and related services.

  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, normalization).

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Python or Scala for data pipeline development.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance bes
