Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience specifically in data engineering. The ideal candidate should have a strong background working with Databricks, Oracle, and Python.
Note: This is an onsite position requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the Bridgewater, NJ office.
Candidates must be available for a face-to-face interview.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and workflows in Databricks.
- Work with Oracle databases to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Python to support data transformation and integration.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet business needs.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across various sources and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and infrastructure.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer (must be specific to data engineering, not overall IT experience).
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Databricks
- Oracle (PL/SQL, performance tuning, etc.)
- Python
- Proven ability to build and manage scalable data pipelines.
- Experience working in hybrid cloud/on-prem environments is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
