Job Title: IBM DataPower Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DataPower Developer to support the modernization and migration of IBM DataPower services to a new data center. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in DataPower development, along with hands-on experience in log analysis, deployment automation, and scripting.

Responsibilities

  • Modernize and migrate IBM DataPower services to the new data center environment.

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain DataPower services and integrations.

  • Analyze logs using Splunk to troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).

  • Support deployment processes using UCD or similar automation tools.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and system stability.

  • Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer where needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in IBM DataPower development.

  • Strong expertise in DataPower services, policies, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • Proficiency in Splunk for log debugging and RCA.

  • Experience with UCD (UrbanCode Deploy) or other deployment automation tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Have

  • Understanding of IBM MQ.

  • DataPower administration knowledge.

  • Experience with automation scripting (Python or Shell).
