Senior Data Engineer
BravoTech a leader in IT staffing and staff augmentation services, seeks a Contract to Perm Senior Data Engineer for a preferred client based in Dallas, Texas.
The Ideal candidate will have a solid experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Python scripting, SQL, Python, Power BI
Must have experience in Data Pipeline Development, Data Integration, SQL Queries
MS Fabric experience a huge plus
Open to working Hybrid (2 days a week)
Must be authorized to work in the US. No sponsorship options available.
Must be open to working in a Faith-Based Christian Organization
Ability to pass drug screen and criminal background check.

- Lead the development of data pipelines to ingest data from multiple disparate sources into our data lake.
- Lead the conversion of legacy Multi-Dimensional Cubes to modern Power BI tabular models.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines that incorporate automated testing for all build and deployments.
- Refactor MDX-based SSRS reports into SQL queries to aid in the deprecation of Multi-Dimensional Cubes.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server and advanced data modeling using Power BI.
- Proficient in Python and Apache Spark.
- Proven track record of leading projects in an Agile environment.
- Be part of a cloud-first data environment doing green-field development and support of legacy processes.
- Work in a team environment with a broad range of application and data developers, IT Services engineers, and various line-of-business end-users.
- Drive the modernization of our Data Estate through continuous improvement initiatives
- Proficiency with SSAS Multi-Dimensional Cubes is a plus.
- Strong experience in maintaining and developing SSRS reports.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to find ways to improve data quality, efficiency, and quality.
- Significant experience working in a regulatory compliance environment (HIPAA, PCI, SOX, etc.).
