SharePoint Architect
Location: Hartford, Connecticut (Hybrid)

Profile Brief
We are seeking a seasoned SharePoint Architect to lead the design, deployment, and management of our SharePoint infrastructure. You'll be:
- Instrumental in transforming business requirements into scalable, secure, and user-friendly SharePoint solutions that enhance collaboration and productivity across the organization.
- Work with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions integrated with Microsoft 365 and related technologies.
Core Responsibilities
Design and implement secure SharePoint architecture
Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, subsites, libraries, lists, views, and workflows
Lead SharePoint migration and upgrade projects
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Document architecture, configurations, and processes
Define taxonomy, metadata, governance, and compliance frameworks
Lead migrations, upgrades, and tenant-to-tenant transitions using ShareGate, Metalogix, etc.
Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Azure services.
Oversee custom development using SPFx, PowerShell, CSOM, REST APIs.
Ensure performance, disaster recovery, and security compliance.
Ensure platform security, compliance, and data integrity
Mentor development/admin teams and enforce best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues
Train and support end-users to maximize platform adoption
Required Qualifications
10+ years IT experience, 5+ years in SharePoint architecture/design.
Expertise in SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server (2013/2016/2019), Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Proficiency in SPFx, PowerShell, PnP, REST API, and Power Platform integration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Experience with enterprise-level SharePoint deployments
Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methodologies
