Anaplan Subject Matter Expert (SME)

As an Anaplan SME, you will play a critical role in supporting the bank's financial planning, analysis, and operational modeling initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing Anaplan models to meet the evolving needs of the bank's business units. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Operations, and IT to ensure Anaplan solutions drive business value and support strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities

• Model Development & Maintenance:
  • Design, build, and update Anaplan models for financial planning, forecasting, regulatory reporting, and other banking functions.
  • Ensure models are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business requirements.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with business units to gather requirements and translate them into functional Anaplan solutions.
  • Advise stakeholders on best practices for connected planning and model architecture.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for end-users.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements.
  • Lead updates to models to reflect changing business needs, regulatory requirements, or process improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve system issues.
• Training & Documentation:
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users.
  • Create and maintain documentation for models, processes, and user guides.
• Governance & Compliance:
  • Ensure models and processes adhere to the bank's risk, compliance, and data integrity standards.
  • Support audit and regulatory reporting requirements as needed.

Must have Qualifications

• L3 Anaplan Certification or Solution Architect Certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Anaplan model building, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
• Experience with financial planning and analysis, regulatory reporting, or risk management in a banking environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Knowledge of data integration tools and techniques.

The pay range for this position is $100.00 - $110.00/hr.
