Tableau Server Architect

Tableau Server Architect for Randstad Digital, LLC. Multiple openings. Headquarters: Woburn, MA. Develop, design, implement, install, configure, integrate server infrastructure supporting data-driven environments, scalable and secure server architecture, server environments, disaster recovery processes and procedures to include External File Store. Ensure high availability, performance and security of servers. Confer with data engineers, analysts and stakeholders to review requirements and provide tailored solutions. Optimize server performance, find root causes of service degradation, create key performance metrics, reports, tables, dashboards. Troubleshoot, script, and review data governance, code, capacity planning, stress testing, data science, large data volumes. Maintain documentation, analyze client/user needs, recommend modifications, and formulate UAT and validation plans. Use Tableau, Python, PowerShell, Azure, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Power BI, Unix, Linux, ThoughtSpot, Starburst, Hadoop, Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, DB2, SDLC, Netezza, Teradata, SQL, ETL, Trifecta, Alteryx, SSIS, APIs, JavaScript, AWS. 40 hrs/wk. Must have a Bachelor s degree (3 or 4 year U.S. or foreign degree) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related quantitative or scientific field, and five (5) years experience in the proffered position, or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. Must have 2 years of experience supporting and working with servers; reviewing security, requirements, code; creating reports, tables, dashboards; performing script, UAT; using Tableau, Python, PowerShell, Power BI, Unix, Linux, Oracle, SQL Server, SDLC, SQL, Alteryx, AWS. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $178,132 to $178,150 /yr.
