Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Civil Engineer with expertise in land development and water resources. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing and overseeing projects that enhance infrastructure and ensure sustainability. This position requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, project management, and regulatory compliance to deliver effective solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee land development and water resource projects
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Perform structural analysis and risk management assessments
- Lead project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Develop and implement project schedules and quality control measures
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and staff
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid professional engineering (PE) license
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development and water resources engineering
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other civil engineering software
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record
- Experience in cost estimation and contract management
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and environmental standards
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
