Machine Program Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a Machine Program Specialist with deep technical expertise in metrology programming, robotic automation, and advanced dimensional inspection systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CMM programming (Zeiss Calypso), COBOT automation, and 3D optical scanning tools (Blue Light, ATOS GOM), with the ability to script in Python for enhanced automation and efficiency
- Develop and maintain CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software for high-precision inspection tasks.
- Configure, program, and optimize collaborative robots (COBOTs) to support automated inspection and machine-tending tasks.
- Operate and program Blue Light Scanners and ATOS GOM systems for 3D surface inspection and reverse engineering.
- Use Python to automate measurement tasks, post-processing, and data integration with quality systems.
- Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T to create inspection routines.
- Troubleshoot equipment, software, and measurement issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Document and standardize programming methods and inspection procedures.
- Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to implement improvements and support product launches.
