Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Business System Analyst to lead the analysis and design of business systems that support mission-critical operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure that solutions align with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to insurance products (e.g., claims, underwriting, policy administration) and healthcare services (e.g., patient management, billing, compliance).
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for system enhancements and new implementations.
• Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies to support strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design workflows and system integrations across platforms (e.g., EHR, CRM, policy systems).
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HL7, ICD-10) and insurance standards (ACORD, NAIC).
• Analyze and optimize processes related to claims processing, provider networks, member enrollment, and benefits administration.
• Support data-driven decision-making through reporting and analytics, including healthcare KPIs and insurance metrics.
• Lead requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and solution walkthroughs.
• Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Support QA and UAT efforts by validating test cases and ensuring traceability to requirements.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices in business analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in business/system analysis.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with cloud-based systems (e.g., Azure, AWS, Salesforce Health Cloud).
• Familiarity with data privacy and security standards in healthcare and insurance.
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, SQL, and healthcare/insurance platforms.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Attributes:

• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or domain-specific credentials (e.g., AHIP, CPHIMS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
