Job Description:
The DTS Lead ICSM is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP s Intelligent Clinical Supply Management (ICSM) solution.
This role supports clinical trial operations by ensuring efficient planning, forecasting, packaging, labeling, and distribution of clinical trial materials across global sites, while maintaining regulatory compliance and end-to-end visibility.
Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Implementation:
Lead the deployment of SAP ICSM solutions integrated with CTMS (Clinical Trial Management Systems) and IRT (Interactive Response Technology).
Design clinical supply chain processes including demand forecasting, batch allocation, and expiry management.
Configure and manage clinical study parameters, study designs, and medication lists for blinded and open-label trials.
Integration & Collaboration:
Integrate ICSM with SAP S/4HANA, third-party logistics providers, and serialization systems.
Collaborate with clinical operations, regulatory, manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
Compliance & Visibility:
Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA, and global clinical trial regulations.
Enable site-level visibility of clinical supplies and optimize replenishment based on enrolment and dispensing data.
Project Leadership:
Lead cross-functional teams through project life cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live.
Provide training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
Required Skills:
8+ years of experience in SAP supply chain or life sciences solutions.
3+ years of experience with SAP ICSM or similar clinical supply chain platforms.
Strong understanding of clinical trial operations and regulatory requirements.
Experience with integration to CTMS, IRT, and SAP S/4HANA.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP certification in supply chain or life sciences modules.
Experience with GS1 standards and serialization.
Background in pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or IT.
