RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking two Ansible for RHEL Senior Consultants in Raleigh, NC.
Job Overview:
We are seeking two experienced Ansible for RHEL Senior Consultants to support our Operationally Ready AAP and production push efforts. The role involves migrating from Puppet, so Puppet knowledge is highly favorable. The majority of automation workloads are infrastructure-related, requiring strong network skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support Operationally Ready AAP and production push efforts
* Migrate automation processes from Puppet to Ansible
* Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for RHEL environments
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation and infrastructure
* Provide expertise in network automation and infrastructure management
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience with Ansible for RHEL
* Extensive experience in infrastructure automation
* Strong knowledge of Puppet and experience in migration projects
* Solid understanding of network automation and related skills
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with other automation tools and frameworks
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and methodologies
* Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
