Job Title: 2nd Shift Production Supervisor Defense
Location: Onsite 789 Flatwood Industrial Dr, Spartanburg, SC 29303
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM 9:30 PM
Worker Shift Timing: 2:30 PM 8:30 PM
No Overtime or Travel

Rate Range: $30-40/hr.
Role Overview
As the 2nd Shift Production Supervisor, you ll lead and support production teams during this newly added shift. You ll coordinate with 1st and 3rd shift teams to ensure smooth transitions, meet production goals, and maintain safety and quality standards.
Shift-Specific Responsibilities
- Arrive 1 hour before (1:30 PM) and stay 1 hour after (until 9:30 PM) the main production shift to coordinate handoffs with 1st and 3rd shift teams.
- Oversee day-to-day operations on the 2nd shift (2:30 PM 8:30 PM).
- Lead small teams in specific production areas and ensure tasks align with schedules and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot process issues and escalate as needed.
- Maintain communication with other shift leads to ensure consistency.
Key Duties
- Support safety, quality, 5S (organization), and productivity goals.
- Guide, coach, and evaluate team members to build strong work culture.
- Identify problems in manufacturing and implement process improvements.
- Keep accurate records and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Lead or support Kaizen events and create standard work documentation.
- Enforce company policies and safety procedures consistently.
Requirements
- Must Have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Prior experience supervising a team
