Overview

We are seeking a Front-End Engineer to support Amazon’s Project Kuiper, a next-generation satellite broadband initiative. This role focuses on building and maintaining modern web applications that power Kuiper’s customer engagement and communications platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and intuitive front-end solutions that integrate with advanced network and communications systems.

This is a hands-on engineering role for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, highly technical environments and enjoy collaborating with teams to deliver mission-critical customer experiences.

Responsibilities

 Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications for Kuiper customer engagement systems
 Build reusable UI components and front-end services that integrate with Kuiper platform services
 Collaborate with stakeholder engineering teams to deliver cross-team initiatives
 Apply front-end best practices related to performance, accessibility, and maintainability
 Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies
 Contribute to continuous improvement of UI frameworks, patterns, and standards

Required

 4+ years of professional front-end development experience (non-internship)
 Strong proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
 Experience building enterprise web applications, prototypes, workflows, or wireframes
 Hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
 Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and stakeholders

Preferred

 Familiarity with web services and APIs (REST, HTTP, JSON)
 Understanding of UX patterns and user-centric design principles
 Experience working in large, distributed engineering environments
