This opportunity entails being responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned project including investigation, evaluation and recommendation of design solutions. Assigned to handle specific technical design aspects of a project for which he/she is responsible including investigating, evaluating, and recommending the design solutions that best meet the client's needs. Performs assignments under direction with limited responsibility for design.

What You'll Do:

• Provides professional architectural consulting in the planning, design and coordination of project assignments. May make recommendations on design alternatives.
• Applies knowledge of architectural principles and practices in broad array of assignments. Support or makes decisions on architectural design problems and methods. Has technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating architectural design assignments.
• Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned project, including investigation, evaluation and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client's need.
• Applies moderate architectural concepts and designs. Carries out assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and two years of relevant experience.

What You'll Bring

• Experience in complex infrastructure architecture including rail, transit, aviation, and public facilities.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, guidelines, produces quality work, and stays current with industry standards and best practices.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and structural systems for AE design coordination and integration.
• Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned project, including investigation, evaluation and recommendations of technical design solutions that meet the project and client needs.
• Proficiency in architectural and design software including AutoCAD and Revit; graphic tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, and documentation tools like Bluebeam.
• Strong written communication, time management, organizational, collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating architectural technical design assignments.

What We Prefer:

• Assists AE group with organization and administrative support of technical documentation, budget, quality, and project delivery support.
