Description of Services

  • As a Systems Analyst in the IT Project Management Office, responsible for overseeing the analysis, design, and implementation of Unemployment Insurance projects, managing one or more projects concurrently to ensure successful delivery.
  • Complete evaluations of existing and future capabilities, conduct research into solution alternatives, enhance system capabilities, and providing advice to stakeholders.
  • Participate in joint application design sessions with customers and IT staff to define business requirements and develop software systems requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with users to determine requirements of new processes and applications or modifications to existing processes and applications.
  • Be actively involved in implementations and upgrades in a low code platform.
  • Perform system configuration, document business processes and prepare project documentation with a high level of attention to detail, strong organization skills and technical aptitude.
  • Use standardized project management processes, tools and techniques to address project needs.
  • Develop test artifacts, conduct testing including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and develop training documentation for various team projects.
  • Work closely with developers to track defects and resolutions.
  • Perform deep technical and analytical reviews to analyze system functionality with customer and resolve production issues.
  • Assist with creating, maintaining and enforcing global standards.
  • Perform other analysis and documentation tasks as required to facilitate and support team projects.
  • Assist in the diagnosis of problems associated with applications and writes detailed specifications for developing or correcting issues to improve system performance and/or accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to maintain operations.

Requirements

4-7 years of experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements and developing software specifications.

4-7 years of experience documenting detailed requirements for information technology solutions that will meet program and user needs.

4-7 years of experience with DB2 Table designs.

4-7 years of experience and knowledge of Mainframe Programming languages: Natural, COBOL.

4-7 years of experience in various documentation techniques such as Requirements Traceability Matrix, Software Design Document, Software Requirements Specification, User Stories, Use Cases, Data Flow Diagrams, and User Interface Designs.

4-7 years of demonstrated ability in working with stakeholders and development team; experience facilitating productive meetings to formulate business requirements and communicate stakeholder needs to technical staff.

4-7 years of experience in creating test plans and complex test scenarios in cooperation with business and technical groups.

4-7 years of experience executing test plans, assisting team members in performing and completing test activities; coordinate, monitor, and perform testing, and facilitate user acceptance testing.

4-7 years of experience identifying, analyzing and documenting software defects; assists developers in analyzing and resolving defects.

4-7 years of experience writing and executing SQL statements to verify test results.

4-7 years of experience with Java applications.

4-7 years of experience using Visio to develop workflow.

4-7 years of thorough knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies.

4-7 years of excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with business stakeholders and IT team and function as a liaison between the two groups.

Preferred Requirements

4 years of experience working as a Test Lead for an IT implementation project.

4 years of experience with TWC Unemployment Insurance Systems.

2 years of experience in Public Sector delivery.
