JOB DESCRIPTION

Schedule: 8-5/9-6 (1 hour non-billable lunch, with flexability depending on business needs)

This role is hybrid with up to 3 days on site per week (days may vary; likely will move to Wednesday on site with others flexable)

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Jira and Confluence environments, including project setups, space configurations, and permission schemes.
• Manage user accounts, groups, and roles, ensuring proper access and security.
• Support the setup and maintenance of custom fields, issue types, workflows, and permissions in Jira.
• Configure Confluence spaces, templates, and permissions to optimize knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Jira and Confluence users, addressing issues such as permissions, workflows, and system performance.
• Resolve technical issues related to Jira and Confluence integrations, including third-party add-ons.
• Assist with integrating Jira and Confluence with other systems (e.g., GitHub, Slack, CI/CD tools) to ensure seamless workflows.Perform routine system checks and monitoring to ensure uptime and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the broader IT team to ensure integration between Atlassian tools and other enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience administering and configuring Jira and Confluence in a professional environment.
• Proficiency in Jira administration, including custom fields, workflows, screens, and permissions.
• Knowledge of Confluence configuration, including templates, macros, spaces, and permissions.
• Atlassian Certified Jira Software Administrator or Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator is a plus, but not required.
