RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and manage efficient and scalable IT infrastructure solutions, including on-premises servers, networks, storage, and cloud-based systems
* Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of infrastructure systems; Monitor system health and resource utilization, optimizing as needed for cost and efficiency
* Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and patch management; apply hardening measures to servers, networks, and cloud environments
* Apply security best practices across all infrastructure components; Monitor for vulnerabilities, breaches, and suspicious activity; Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and IAM solutions
* Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues (network, server, cloud, security); respond to and investigate security incidents, coordinating with relevant teams
* Work closely with Business units to provide technical support, training, and guidance to users and junior team members
* Develop, implement, and test backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies for both on-premises and cloud systems
* Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, procedures, and incident reports; Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (SOX, NIST, etc.) and internal policies
* Participate in capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization for infrastructure resources
* Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and best practices to enhance infrastructure efficiency, security, and scalability

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* 3-5 years of proven experience as a Systems Admin or in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of enterprise-level infrastructure, system administration, and cybersecurity best practices
* Proficiency in virtualization technologies
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, CCNA, CompTIA Security) are a plus
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
* Background in Fortinet

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
