AMS (APPLICATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM) SUPPORT ANALYST - Automotive Industry
Location: US-MI-Auburn Hills - 3 days a week onsite

ALTA IT Services has a 6-month contract to hire opening for an AMS (Application Management System) Support Analyst to join one of our leading integrator customers. The role will collaborate with a major automotive client in Detroit, and you'll be right at the heart of the action. This role requires working onsite three days a week in northern Detroit. Seeking experience in the automotive domain, preferably in the area of connected vehicle.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Strong analytical ability to quickly understand the issues, debug and arrive at solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written both)
  • Hands on, Self-driven, Solution oriented and Customer focused.
  • AMS (Application Management System) support experience
  • Ability to query the system logs and debug issues.
  • Understand System integration concepts and especially API specifications.
  • Ability to create flow diagrams to create an operational view of the functionality.
  • Good exposure to automotive domain, preferably in the area of connected vehicle
  • Strong technical background demonstrating solid understanding of IT systems and ability to support them.
  • Develop and maintain accurate technical and user documentation.
  • Performing operational tasks like monitoring, analysis, reporting and prompt attention to issues
  • Communications for any outages/incidents which affect the user community.
  • Coordination with internal and external stakeholders for driving the issues towards the closure.
  • Analyze incidents and come-up with improvement ideas to avoid incidents and reduce inflow.
  • Perform system administration tasks e.g. certificate management, product version tracking and upgrade support, etc.
  • Any programming background is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education and Years of Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience working in agile/scrum methodology.
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Location: Onsite Auburn Hills, MI

HOURLY RATE : $55/HR range. W2, Benefits available.
