Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Manage routine maintenance and upkeep for LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, pipettes, sample grinders, evaporators, and other laboratory instrumentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for repair, maintenance, and instrumentation upgrades.
- Assist with major LC-MS/MS software upgrade projects, ensuring coordination, execution, and validation for compliance with Windows 11.
- Order and maintain supplies needed for method development and instrument maintenance.
- Perform routine lab support tasks, including equipment maintenance and validation, instrument cleaning, performance verification, computer systems validation, LC-MS/MS batch setup and execution, and mobile phase preparation.
- Comply with laboratory safety procedures, GLP standards, and regulatory requirements; document all activities accurately and completely.
- Prepare standard solutions and maintain chemical standards, cataloging, and GLP documentation as needed.
- General knowledge of mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, and associated software.
- Ability to manage instrument maintenance and upkeep in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Hands-on experience in analytical laboratory procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams, including R&D and regulatory staff.
- Hands-on analytical laboratory experience is highly desired.
- Experience with quantitative weighings, solution preparation, and small molecule LC-MS/MS analysis preferred.
- Understanding of GLP regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience coordinating software upgrades and instrument validation projects.
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in a science-related field; Bachelor s degree preferred.
