We are looking for a Senior Laboratory Technician for our client in Indianapolis, IN
Job Title: Senior Laboratory Technician

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage routine maintenance and upkeep for LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, pipettes, sample grinders, evaporators, and other laboratory instrumentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for repair, maintenance, and instrumentation upgrades.
  • Assist with major LC-MS/MS software upgrade projects, ensuring coordination, execution, and validation for compliance with Windows 11.
  • Order and maintain supplies needed for method development and instrument maintenance.
  • Perform routine lab support tasks, including equipment maintenance and validation, instrument cleaning, performance verification, computer systems validation, LC-MS/MS batch setup and execution, and mobile phase preparation.
  • Comply with laboratory safety procedures, GLP standards, and regulatory requirements; document all activities accurately and completely.
  • Prepare standard solutions and maintain chemical standards, cataloging, and GLP documentation as needed.
Skills:
  • General knowledge of mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, and associated software.
  • Ability to manage instrument maintenance and upkeep in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Hands-on experience in analytical laboratory procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams, including R&D and regulatory staff.
Experience:
  • Hands-on analytical laboratory experience is highly desired.
  • Experience with quantitative weighings, solution preparation, and small molecule LC-MS/MS analysis preferred.
Should Have (Preferred/Desired):
  • Understanding of GLP regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience coordinating software upgrades and instrument validation projects.
Qualification and Education:
  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in a science-related field; Bachelor s degree preferred.
