Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Workday Payroll & Time Tracking Consultant with hands-on experience in configuring and supporting Workday Payroll and Time Tracking modules. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing, configuring, and optimizing Workday solutions to ensure accurate payroll processing and time tracking management in alignment with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure Workday Payroll module, including payroll calculations, deductions, tax configurations, and integrations.
- Configure and maintain Workday Time Tracking module, including time entry rules, time calculation rules, time validations, and approvals.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and design Workday solutions that meet business needs.
- Implement business processes related to payroll and time tracking workflows, security, and reporting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to payroll and time tracking configurations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal payroll regulations.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and assist with UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for payroll/time tracking changes or upgrades.
- Support data loads, integrations (EIB, Workday Studio), and reporting solutions as required.
- Document system configurations, processes, and best practices to ensure knowledge transfer.
- Stay updated on Workday releases and new features related to Payroll and Time Tracking.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4 6 years of experience in Workday Payroll Configuration and Time Tracking implementation or support.
- In-depth understanding of Workday Payroll and Time Tracking configuration options and business processes.
- Hands-on experience in configuring Time Entry Codes, Time Calculation Rules, Time Validations, Time Approvals, Payroll Processing, and Tax Setup.
- Strong knowledge of Workday Business Process Framework (BPF).
- Experience with Workday Integrations (EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors).Good understanding of Payroll
- Compliance (local tax, deductions, statutory reports).
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday Certification in Payroll or Time Tracking.
- Experience with Workday Reporting (Advanced Reports, Calculated Fields).
- Familiarity with Workday Security Configuration.
- Prior experience in end-to-end Workday implementations.
