Product Owner.
Location: Copell, TX (Onsite 4 Days/Week)
Duration: 6 Months+
One of our clients is looking for a Product Owner.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Define and own the end-to-end guest experience across all channels (Web, mobile app, kiosk, in-store). They want someone with end-to-end product ownership and not just someone who has owned a small sliver of a product such as just the Check Out Page or only the Mobile App. This person will own the whole horizontal landscape of the product and not just a vertical slice.
- Example of potential products: Season Pass, Leaderboard.
- Ability to translate high-level business asks into user journeys, personas, process flows, and feature definition documentation.
- Analysis heavy, need more than just ability to write user story requirements but essentially a variety of documentation from early stage ideation to birth of product. This will be a role where the Sr Product Manager will have to be the one that defines the actual product for themselves and the organization. Example: Starting from a request, to facilitation of establishing documentation, to target audience identification, marketing, sales, etc.
- Someone who is comfortable working in low-maturity project-heavy environments, complexity, and unrefined processes. Stated anyone looking for structured environments and clear direction may not be the best fit. This person will have to be resourceful, a creator, heavily strategic, and do well with ambiguity
- Strong product intuition and commerce savviness, critical due to lack of mature data and research available
- Ability to navigate top-down and influence C-level stakeholders, marketing, strategy, IT and Operations
- There are Product Owners in the org that the Product Manager will hand off the tactical day-to-day product delivery to
INTERVIEW PROCESS:
- Stage 1: Meet with Product Director, Shane Helsel, for virtual meeting, 45 min 1 hour
- Stage 2: Meet with group of peers
- If Shane is sold on any of the candidates after his interview, then he may make the decision single handedly, making Stage 2 unnecessary
