Job Details
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support field-based construction activities for major energy projects. This role will assist in managing assigned projects to ensure they meet safety, budget, and scheduling requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure high-quality execution of work at the project site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor productivity, schedule adherence, work quality, and safety performance on assigned construction projects
- Participate in job walk-downs to validate work readiness and verify completed work against design specifications
- Review and verify contractor payment requests and ensure alignment with project progress
- Evaluate constructability, assess field status, and resolve on-site issues as they arise
- Coordinate project activities with suppliers, vendors, regulatory bodies, local officials, and internal departments
- Support scope management, budget tracking, issue resolution, performance reporting, and progress scheduling
- Serve as a point of contact for landowners, local authorities, and state agencies regarding project updates
- Reinforce compliance with safety standards, company procedures, corrective actions, and performance expectations for both employees and contractor staff
- Support integration of cross-functional groups such as engineering, safety, budget, analytics, and contract administration
- Engage with the project s designated management committee to align on status and strategy
- Perform additional duties as required to support successful project execution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of construction management processes and contractor oversight
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with permitting and regulatory compliance at the local and state level
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a field-based, fast-paced environment
