Job Description

ECS is seeking a Data Analyst to work in our MacDill AFB, FL office.

ECS is seeking a Data Analyst to work in our MacDill AFB, FL office from 1 November 2025 to 30 April 2026. The successful candidate will have experience as a mid-level subject matter expert in data analysis in a Military, Federal Government, and/or Intelligence Community organization with a demonstratable history of data analysis, data process mapping, policy development to operationalize data, and identification and addressing gaps / limitations in policy that prevent / deter the operationalization of data.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing data analysis of structured and unstructured data using various techniques, e.g., statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and data mining.
• Determines best practices and develops actionable insights and recommendations for the current operations or issues.
• Works closely with the internal or external clients to identify analytical requirements.
• May handle special analytical projects as needed.
• May assist in implementing or developing systems to capture operational information.
• Supports all Coalition exercise and operational Data Modernization requirements.
• Candidate must be able to interact professionally and successfully with Government operational representatives.
• Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate highly technical information to a broad, operational audience.

Required Skills

• Active TS clearance and SCI eligibility; be able to securely handle/safeguard classified information
• Education or training in Data Management/Science/Analytics, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related fields
• Three-five years relevant work experience
• Ability to manage multiple, high priority projects and tasks with ease
• Experience with data normalization, mining/aggregation, and visualization
• Experience with operational dashboard design, development, and use
• Highly experienced with Microsoft Office O365 products; excellent writing/briefing skills
• Must be available for travel to both domestic and international locations (CENTCOM AOR); no combat zone travel is authorized on this contract
• Ability to support a dynamic, fast-paced work environment

Desired Skills

• Education or training in Data Management/Science/Analytics, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related fields
• Experience with / knowledge of databases such as, TSQL, MySQL, Oracle, PostGres, etc.
• Experience with / knowledge of analytical tools such as, Jupyter Notebooks, Databricks, Qlik, Palantir Foundry, Tableau, and other platforms
• Experience with / knowledge of computer coding / languages such as, Python, Ruby, R, Java, Scala, Rust, etc.
• Experience with / knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI
