Solution Architect
Remote

Data obfuscation discovery effort using Voltage API for one of our banking customers.
Role: Lead assessment of applications for optimal data obfuscation solution strategies and ensure that recommended solution complies with the best design practices.

Responsibilities:
Provide guidance on encryption policies and sensitive data handling.
Review and approve technical designs for Voltage API integration. Tech Environment - .NET , SQL Server, Oracle, Hadoop, Azure, Voltage API

 

  • Design Scalable Application Architectures: Define and develop high-level application architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals, technology standards, and scalability requirements.
  • Lead Technical Decision-Making: Guide development teams on architectural best practices, integration patterns, and technology selection while ensuring code quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Ensure Cross-System Integration and Compliance: Oversee application interoperability, data flow across systems, and compliance with security, regulatory, and enterprise standards.

1. Detailed Current State Assessment
Review existing data obfuscation technologies, configurations, and access controls across financial services.
Document and assess application-specific data obfuscation practices.
Identify and categorize sensitive data elements, data flow, and storage locations.
Feasibility of integrating Voltage APIs with application architecture.
Estimation of effort and prioritization of applications for implementation.

2. Application and Risk Categorization
Classify applications by criticality, data sensitivity, and data volume.
Conduct risk analysis for each application category to determine protection requirements and prioritization.

3. Stakeholder Engagement and Workshops Facilitate working sessions with InfoSec, solution architects, and LoB teams to validate requirements and align technology choices.

4. Recommendations Report:
Document findings from the assessment to develop a comprehensive recommendations report, including an implementation roadmap, resource requirements, and projected benefits.
Document policies, playbooks, and guidelines to support consistent application of data obfuscation practices across the bank.


Final Presentation & Execution Initiation
Present key findings, recommendations, and the execution roadmap to the bank s leadership team.
Conduct a Q&A session to discuss next steps and address any final concerns
