Job Details

Piper Companies is hiring a Monorepo Front End Engineer for a large financial institution located in Westlake, TX. The Monorepo Front Engineer will be joining the Accessibility Team and will help to build out and maintain the monorepo. The Monorepo Front End Engineer will need to sit on site every other week and will be a long term contract opportunity.

Responsibilities for the Monorepo Front End Engineer:
  • Develop and maintain scalable, performant front-end applications within a monorepo architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent user experiences and seamless integration across projects.
  • Implement best practices for code organization, modularity, and reusable components within the monorepo environment.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve front-end issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to team discussions, and provide technical guidance to peers.
  • Optimize front-end code for performance and accessibility across various browsers and devices.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements for the Monorepo Front End Engineer:
  • Proven experience with front-end development and monorepo architectures.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular).
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with build tools, package managers, and version control systems (e.g., Webpack, npm/yarn, Git).
  • Experience with component-based development and managing dependencies within a monorepo.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and accessibility standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Compensation for the Monorepo Front End Engineer:
  • $55-63/hour, based on experience
