Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced AFSVision Functional Business Analyst Consultant to support large-scale implementations and migrations for leading banking and financial institutions. This role is business-facing, focusing on understanding stakeholder requirements, designing functional workflows, and ensuring seamless implementation from the business operations side.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AFSVision, a strong understanding of banking operations, and a proven ability to work closely with cross-functional business stakeholders to drive process improvement and value delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a business liaison for AFSVision implementation and migration projects.
• Collaborate with internal and client-side stakeholders to define and document functional workflows and process requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications.
• Lead workflow design, testing coordination, and business validation activities.
• Support UAT planning and execution, including scenario development and issue triaging.
• Provide guidance on best practices for lending operations, portfolio management, and loan servicing using AFSVision.
• Work cross-functionally with operations, compliance, legal, and finance teams to ensure alignment and business readiness.
• Contribute to change management and training documentation from a business process perspective.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience working in the banking or financial services industry, with direct involvement in AFSVision implementations.
• Strong functional expertise in AFSVision (commercial lending, loan servicing, accounting modules, etc.).
• Experience designing and managing end-to-end business workflows related to loan origination, servicing, and reporting.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior business stakeholders.
• Strong documentation skills (e.g., BRDs, workflow diagrams, business process documentation).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and controls in banking environments.

Nice to Have:

• Prior consulting experience or experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Understanding of integrations between AFSVision and external systems (e.g., general ledger, CRM, data warehouses).
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.

Additional Information:

• This is a business-side functional role, not a technical/IT configuration position.
• Travel may be required for key workshops or go-live support.
• Long-term engagement potential based on project needs and performance.
