Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer for a dynamic opportunity with the potential for a long-term engagement. The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of comprehensive experience in network infrastructure, with expertise in Cisco route/switch, Cisco ISE, Meraki, and Palo Alto firewalls.

Duration: 6 months to Permanent Opportunity

Location: El Dorado, AR (Onsite, potential for hybrid model)

Eligibility: U.S. Citizenship or Required

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our network infrastructure.
  • Utilize expertise in Cisco route/switch to optimize network performance and reliability.
  • Configure and manage Cisco ISE for identity-based access control and policy enforcement.
  • Implement and manage Meraki cloud-managed networking devices for streamlined network management.
  • Deploy and maintain Palo Alto firewalls to safeguard our network against advanced threats and unauthorized access.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as needed.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our network security posture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in network security engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Cisco route/switch, Cisco ISE, Meraki, and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Hands-on experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions within project timelines.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), or equivalent are preferred.
