Job Title: Aftertreatment Calibration Engineer
Location: Detroit, MI

Job Description:

  • Proficiency in Aftertreatment Software (AT) controls and diagnostic features to provide inputs to customer during their calibration development exercise and enable them to be successful in meeting AT performance design targets
  • Investigate and troubleshoot correctness of software behavior using customer provided data to identify root cause for system malfunctions.
  • The individual will support and actively participate with the Test team to schedule and run bench tests for troubleshooting suspected software defects.
  • AUTOSAR proficiency is preferred, Proficiency writing MATLAB, Simulink scripts and functions
  • Preferably with experience working with timeseries or recorded data (plotting, working with vectors/arrays/matrices, sorting and filtering data, statistical analysis).
  • Experience with vehicle On-board Diagnostics (OBD), software calibration, and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing preferred
  • Experience with Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) preferred
  • Presenting technical proposals for calibration strategies to external customer
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams for technical problem solving
