Job Description:

We are looking for a Drafter for a Metal Fabrication Shop in Tulsa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for the fabrication of metal products. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of engineers, fabricators, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for metal fabrication projects.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and sketches.
• Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to ensure that designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify drawings.
• Ensure that all drawings and plans adhere to applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of material lists, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Conduct site visits and field measurements as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve design issues and ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
