A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Security Manager of Vulnerability Management to oversee and enhance their enterprise security posture. This individual will balance both strategy and execution, spending roughly 25% of their time hands on, and 75% of their time driving program leadership, stakeholder alignment, and team management.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in vulnerability management, particularly with Tenable, and experience designing and maturing a vulnerability management framework from the ground up. The position requires a mix of hands on expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
In addition to leading a small team, this person will collaborate across departments, manage vendor relationships, and serve as the bridge between technical operations and executive level strategy.
This role does require someone to work onsite in Pittsburgh 4 days a week.
Required Skills & Experience - 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, including incident response, vulnerability management and security operations
- 2+ years of management experience, with proven ability to mentor, develop, and manage cybersecurity professionals
- Proficiency with Tenable for enterprise vulnerability scanning, analysis and remediation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex technical issues to both technical and non technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in building and maturing a vulnerability management program, from process creation to cross functional execution
Desired Skills & Experience - Experience supporting or securing Operational Technology environments, such as manufacturing systems, industrial control systems or SCADA networks
