Client Description:
We are seeking a Software Architect to oversee our substantial and growing set of capabilities on our Oracle platforms, enabling operations, finance, HR, Document Management, and Order Management.
The Software Architect will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the organization, including business leaders, technology teams, Enterprise Architecture and other subject matter experts, to identify business requirements and develop technological solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives. The Software Architect also provides guidance and direction to technology teams on the best practices and standards for system architecture, design, and development.
Develop and maintain the overall technology strategy for Oracle technologies.
Work and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business goals.
Identify and manage risks associated with technology initiatives.
Collaborate closely with business leaders to formulate technological strategies around our Oracle ecosystem that remains in alignment with the overarching technology and strategy roadmap for the organization.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
Ensure alignment between other enterprise applications that are integrated into our Oracle solutions.
Define Data Models, Security Models, and governance processes.
Prepare and present ideas and influence discussions and decisions within the Architecture Review Board.

ACCOUNTABILITIES: Function A:
Develop and maintain the overall technology strategy for Oracle technologies.
Work and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business goals.
Identify and manage risks associated with technology initiatives.
Collaborate closely with business leaders to formulate technological strategies around our Oracle ecosystem that remains in alignment with the overarching technology and strategy roadmap for the organization.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
Ensure alignment between other enterprise applications that are integrated into our Oracle solutions.
Define Data Models, Security Models, and governance processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of:
Oracle EBS including Advanced Pricing, Supply Chain Management, Financials, Iprocurement, Purchasing and Contracts,
Oracle HCM Fusion
Oracle WebCenter
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Business architecture and how it supports business strategy and operations.
Technology architecture includes infrastructure, applications, data, and security.
Emerging Technologies and trends in the industry
Ability to:
Translate business needs to application development team and IT challenges to our operational stakeholders.
Work side-by-side with Enterprise Architects on best practices in solution design, integration patterns, and environment management.
Learn business use cases quickly and effectively.
Anticipate stakeholder needs, develop, and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realizes they are required.
Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field for a combination of years of experience and/or certifications in information technology
Possess 8+ years of IT experience specializing in Oracle technologies.
Leading significant technology projects, including strategy development and road-mapping
Experience in instituting technology standards with a strong background in collaborating with business leaders for technology solutions integration.
