Job Title- PeopleSoft Techno functional Consultant

Location Mississauga , 2-3 days working , ON, Canada

Long Term contract 1+ year

Account Payable and General Ledger, and any 2 modules knowledge from AM/AR/PC/Billing/Expense

The Role:

- A Senior PeopleSoft Developer/Analyst, Financial Systems, combines advanced programming skills with a deep understanding of financial processes, PeopleSoft ERP to design, develop, and maintain financial software applications.

This role will combine in depth analysis and great understanding of various financial systems modules to be able to offer technical solutions that align with the goals of our business.

Skills:

Mandatory

- Technical and Functional Expertise: A solid understanding of both technical and functional aspects of PeopleSoft is required.

- Functional Modules: Mandatory in depth knowledge of PeopleSoft modules - Account Payable and General Ledger, and any 2 modules knowledge from AM/AR/PC/Billing/Expense

- Proficiency in PeopleTools: Expertise in PeopleTools development tools(e.g., Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQL, SQR, Integration Broker)

- Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build relationships with users.

Good to Have

- Experince in Upgrades and Maintenance: Technical teams are responsible for applying updates, patches, and upgrades to PeopleSoft systems.

- Performance Tuning: Optimizing the performance of PeopleSoft applications and related components, including the database and servers, is a significant technical area.

- Financial System Integration: Ensure proper integration of financial systems with other enterprise applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and test system integrations. Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to financial systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency across platforms.

Responsibilities:

- Technical Development:

Developing and enhancing PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools (e.g., Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQL, SQR, Integration Broker)

- Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering:

Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, document requirements, and translate them into functional and technical specifications.

- Experince in Upgrades and Maintenance: Technical teams are responsible for applying updates, patches, and upgrades to PeopleSoft systems.

- Documentation and Training:

Creating functional and technical documentation, and providing user training on PeopleSoft functionalities.

- Performance Tuning: Optimizing the performance of PeopleSoft applications and related components.

- Project Management:

Contributing to project planning, execution, and monitoring, including managing timelines and deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or Accounting/Finance.

- Minimum of five years of application team experience, including at least three years in a Financial Systems team role.

- Track record of results of solving problems proactively and autonomously.

- Demonstrated customer facing presentation & communication skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
