Job Title: QA Automation Engineer (Local to Austin, TX Only)
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid Must reside within 50 miles)
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automated testing for a hybrid role in Austin, TX. This is a 12-month contract opportunity that requires local candidates only (within a 50-mile radius).

You will work in an Agile environment, develop/maintain test automation scripts using WebdriverIO or similar tools, execute manual test cases, support UAT, and log defects using Jira. The role also includes troubleshooting, scheduling test executions, and maintaining traceability matrices.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 10+ years: Manual Test Execution

  • 8+ years: Automated QA Testing

  • 8+ years: Test Script Creation

  • 8+ years: Performance Testing

  • 5+ years: Automation Reporting

  • JavaScript, HTML, Selenium

  • Jira, XRay, Agile/Scrum methodologies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test scripts

  • Perform test case execution and track results

  • Lead UAT efforts and support production releases

  • Log and manage defects using Jira

  • Work closely with developers and QA teams in Agile sprints
