Location Collegeville, PA onsite.

Need Lab exp and Pharma domain
Role Description: This role focuses on assisting with the maintenance of a global computer infrastructure of 5000 PCs. Key responsibilities include imaging/onboarding new computers, decommissioning old ones, securing hardware, consulting with the business on equipment needs, troubleshooting, and implementing data flows for scientific instruments.
Key Responsibilities & Activities:

Maintain existing computer infrastructure (5000 PCs globally).

Image/Onboard new computers into the domain and network.

Decommission computers.

Secure and protect new and existing hardware.

Consult with the business regarding equipment assistance.

Troubleshoot and implement data flows for scientific instruments.

Perform 80% Break/Fix workload as a Lab Engineer.

Implement validated data backup solutions on laboratory analytical equipment (GxP and non-GxP).

Support scientists with incident management, user support, and coaching.

Manage access.

Test and validate computer software (complete tests, write technical documentation).

Proactively build stronger partnerships with the business by aligning technology and science.

Explore and implement automated solutions for scientific problems.

Strong product ownership/project management (for Lab Enablers).

Technical/Functional Skills (Essential & Desirable):

Outstanding computer troubleshooting skills (device connectivity, network, laboratory software).

End-user Computing or Desktop Support skills.

Understanding of Hardware Components and Networking concepts (network topography, VLANs, Static/Dynamic IPs, Subnetting, IT/OT Networks, basic firewalls, OSI model).

Knowledge of Active Directory.

D2D and/or project support.

AGILE ways of working.

Background with computer security.

Previous experience with validated systems (GxP) (a plus).

Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).

Microsoft Excel skills (a plus).

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft OS, iOS, and Linux (a plus).

Laboratory experience (desirable).
