Compensation: $29-$36 per hour | $60-$75k annually after conversion



Job Title: IT Support & Network Specialist



Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Provide comprehensive technical support to end users, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.

  • Map, configure, and revamp network infrastructures, including routers, switches, access points, and Wi-Fi systems.

  • Install, set up, and manage desktops, printers, and other peripheral devices, including configuring network connections and IP setup.

  • Manage and maintain Active Directory/EntraID, Office 365, Azure, Intune, Windows Server, and Windows OS (10, 11).

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to printers, including network printer mapping and IP configuration.

  • Maintain network security by managing firewalls (e.g., Sophos), cybersecurity software, and ensuring compliance with IT standards.

  • Utilize ITSM tools, help desk ticket systems, and IT asset management software to track and manage IT support activities.

  • Assist in migrating IT assets from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring minimal disruption.

  • Support the setup and maintenance of remote access technologies to enable flexible working arrangements.

  • Follow ITIL framework and best practices to deliver effective IT support and service management.



Required Skills and Experience:




  • BS/AS Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Networking, or related fields.



  • Strong technical skills across various systems, with particular expertise in networking.

  • Experience designing, mapping, and restructuring large-scale networks.

  • Proven troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Customer service-oriented with professional experience remediating end-user technical issues.

  • Ability to configure complex network setups, including chaining domains and setting up networked printers.

  • Deep understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices.

  • Knowledge of Windows ecosystems, including Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Azure, Office 365, and Active Directory/EntraID.

  • Well-versed with networking equipment such as routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and VoIP systems.

  • Hands-on experience with ITSM/help desk ticketing systems and remote access solutions.



Preferred Experience and Bonus Skills:




  • Certifications: CCNA, CompTIA+, ITIL v4



  • Experience with migrating IT assets and systems from legacy platforms to modern solutions.

  • Experience working with cybersecurity tools, network security configurations, and firewalls.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001).

  • Familiarity with setting up and managing IP stacks for printers and other networked devices.

  • Basic understanding of IT Service Delivery metrics such as OKRs.

  • Additional certifications or experience related to cybersecurity or advanced network design is a plus.

  • Strong adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes
