Description
We are looking for a PC Technician/ Helpdesk Support Professional to join the offsite desktop support team, to help with a hardware deployment project first, then after, will be transitioned back to main campus.
We recently split their desktop team into 2 separate teams to provide better service to the end users - 1 team will focus on supporting the users at the hospital and the other team will strictly support the end suers at the clinics & offsite facilities. These teams are responsible for taking escalated calls from the Helpdesk for any hardware/software related issues, new asset request, imaging devices, hardware deployment project based work, rounding to provide proactive IT support, etc.
The #1 focus will be customer support for this opportunity. We have found that there are doctors and nurses that have IT issues and are finding ways to work around them rather than calling in for IT support, and leadership wants technology to work for the medical professionals who are taking care of patients rather than working against them. Today if a user has a request for a new laptop, printer, mouse, etc, or has a quick issue, users have to submit a ticket and wait for helpdesk/desktop to respond which takes time. We are establishing a team where they will be doing rounding at each of the offsite clinic locations to constantly check in on what is needed from an IT standpoint. The last thing a Dr or Nurse wants to do after a long shift is call the helpdesk and go through the formal process of creating a ticket. These techs will show up at clinics, introduce themselves as an IT Technician, and check if anyone is experiencing any IT issues that they can help troubleshoot right there on the spot, or create a helpdesk ticket for the issue so they don't have it.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $20.00/hr.
