Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and manufacturing, preferably within the aerospace industry. This is a permanent position, offering a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality systems.
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including but not limited to:
1. Developing and implementing quality control systems in line with AS9100, ISO9001, and ASME standards.
2. Collaborating with suppliers to ensure high-quality materials and products.
3. Conducting audits of processes and quality systems to identify areas for improvement.
4. Analyzing manufacturing processes for enhancement opportunities and implementing effective solutions.
5. Leading root cause analysis investigations and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
6. Providing technical and quality support to the manufacturing team.
7. Participating in the design and development of products to ensure quality standards are met.
8. Preparing quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
9. Training and guiding staff on new processes and quality control measures.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role, preferably within the aerospace industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, and ASME standards.
4. Proven experience in supplier quality management.
5. Strong knowledge of quality control methods and statistical techniques.
6. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement quality systems.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
